The North Shore Craft Group (NSCG), founded in 1957, has had a very long tradition of fostering the unique talents of craftspeople from the area and bringing their exquisite creations to the public through their exciting exhibitions.
Over four fun-filled days this winter, the NSCG is proudly presenting their annual Botanica Contemporary Art & Craft Exhibition & Sale at Thornleigh Community Centre.
Opening on Thursday 8th July 2021 from 10am, this four-day extravaganza will showcase a diverse range of unique handmade creations by local artisans, including glassware, handweaving, jewellery, ceramics, woodwork, hand-painted & eco-dyed fabrics, felting, decoupage, embroidery, & multi-media artwork.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to purchase arts and crafts for loved ones and acquire original pieces for your collection. Entry is free and all are welcome to attend.
As part of the festivities, there is the Member's Challenge: 'Botanica', so make sure to vote and you could win $200 to spend at this year's exhibition and sale!
The exhibition and sale event will open to the public on Thursday 8th July, Friday 9th July and Saturday 10th July from 10am to 5pm & Sunday 11th July from 10am to 3pm.
Hornsby CWA will have a range of refreshments onsite, including tea and coffee as well as light lunches and scones. Wheelchair access is available at the venue and there is also parking nearby and the venue is within walking distance from Thornleigh railway station.
Door donations from this event will be donated to Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women's Shelter.
