Is a freelance writer and school teacher living in Adelaide. On weekends I like to get out and explore with my family. I love travelling and have lived in various cities.
Did you make it to the June market? Due to its amazing success the North East Kid's Market is back on August 19. I love a morning spent at the market and this is truly one of my favourite markets. If you happen to be in Adelaide a trip to the North East Kids Market is highly recommended.
This market has a stunning array of sellers catering for everything a kid could need or want. You will find a wide selection of unique, designer, handmade and pre-loved items. With something to suit every budget among the 80 or more sellers. You can expect to see a great assortment of clothes, hair accessories, toys, games and sweet treats, as well as awesome children's photographers and exciting party ideas and so much more. I am not sure which I enjoy the most; the fabulous cupcakes, macaroons and cake pops or the fantastic gift ideas for the kiddies. I know my kids love the hands on craft activities, the face painting and bouncy castle.
A few highlights I had from the last market were: Neat to Eat - offering great ideas for kid's lunch boxes Learning Ladder - with some fantastic educational toys Schooled Up Hair Accessories - hair accessories in school colour combinations Little Miss Macaroon - deliciously flavoured macaroons Shizam Designs - the most amazing reversible skirts for those highly fashionable little girls in your house
As this market is in Tea Tree Plus, you don't even have to factor in the weather. Come before lunch, have a wander around the stalls, grab some food and let the kids enjoy the great market atmosphere. Or wait for the crowds to die down and come by for afternoon tea and pick up a cupcake or macaroon from one of the stalls.
Mark Sunday August 19 on your calendar and be prepared to have some good old family fun.
