Connect with Local Community
November is a fantastic month in Adelaide for getting out and about in the sunshine. Not yet quite summer, there are still really nice days for getting out in nature and what better way to spend a Saturday than out in your local community connecting with others.
There will be lots to keep you entertained with markets, entertainment for kids and adults, food trucks and a fantastic atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping.
Choose from a range of fantastic products and gifts at the market stalls including Living Natural with Tam, Crafts by Kat, Savage Tackle and Inspired by Archie, including many others. There will be stalls with everything from handmade cards and candles to Christmas decorations and home décor and with over 40 stalls, there is plenty of opportunity to support local traders with your Christmas shopping.
Bring your picnic rug, as once you have finished your shopping, you can grab something yummy from the food trucks and kick back with some lunch and entertainment. You are welcome to bring your own picnic, however, food trucks will be available including SA Tornado Potato, cheese toasties, sausage sizzle and coffee van.
If you are looking for after school activities for the kids, 1st Hillcrest Scout Group will be there with information about scouting, cold drinks and a traditional bake sale, along with sporting groups providing information about their services and organisations.
There will be entertainment for the kids including giant games, bouncy castle, crafts, face painting, airbrush tattoos, interactive STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities, a magician, Farmer Darcy's Travelling Farm, bop til you drop and the Paw Prints Showbag Trail. So much to choose from, the kids cannot get bored.
