On the high street in Yuksom, there are two small restaurants next to each other and for some reason, I only ever went in this one.

Norling Restaurant, Yuksom, Sikkim

Probably because I found the staff at Norling Restaurant friendly and quick and the Thantuk Tibetan soup delicious.

They also do possibly the best chai in Yuksom and have Bhutanese dishes on the menu, which are like a cheesy Thai curry. If that doesn't sound disgusting to you then you're in for a treat. Even if it does sound disgusting, I reckon it's worth a try for the novelty value.

Their Momos (Tibetan dumplings) are also a tasty snack and go really well with the super spicy homemade chilli sauce

Mountain views are an added bonus, although you could say the same about pretty much everywhere in Yuksom.

All in all, if I wanted Tibetan food in a jiffy I would always go here and was never disappointed by the experience.
