These delicious little black tarts have been popping up all over Melbourne and it's all because of Nora.

Located on Elgin Street in Carlton, Nora serves up these black based tarts quicker than you can pop them into your mouth. Why are they black? They're tinted with charcoal from coconut husks, which sounds odd, but tastes amazing.

Melburnians have likely spotted these delightful treats all over the city in places like Eau de Vie, Seven Seeds, Flour Market and more and now the creators behind these lovelies have opened their own shop. Welcome, Nora.

Nora bakes up these tarts by the masses filling them with all sorts of treats such as lemongrass and ginger brûlée, coconut pandan, strawberries with tamarind cream cheese, or kaffir lime custard with sour cherries.

Whilst at Nora, feel free to enjoy brunch which offers a great mix of Asian influenced western food with menu items that include things like muesli made with durian and lotus root.

You certainly wont be sorry for giving this one a go. In fact it could easily become your new favourite.
