A picture tells a thousand words

What a wonderful natural waterway to spend time and great to see so many people out and about during Easter... but why wait for the holidays? There's so many places to stay, including a camping ground at Munna Point why not escape the city for a weekend of R & R?

Sitting by the Noosa River
Quality Family Time...

Family time feeding the ducks. Sometimes it is the simple things in life that we remember as we get older. I wonder if this family will remember this simple outing in years to come?

Dropping the line in.
Any excuse for a sit in the sun...

Surprisingly, the fish do really bite in the river. Brim seems to be the most popular, along with the blowies...There's something extraordinarily relaxing about sitting with a line in the water, no matter where you do it.

If your feeling more energetic..

Noosaville Tennis Club on Gympie Terrace Ph:5455 6749.
If you really are feeling up for a hit of tennis why not grab a friend and have a game or two?

Sitting quietly... or not so quietly...
plenty of places to find a shady tree..

There are so many lovely shaded areas along this river you can take your pick. Toilets are located about half way along and to the northern end of Gympie Terrace.

Walking the dogs...
or an early morn run..
No excuse not to get out and about, is there, really....

Hire a Bike?
Take to the pathways and ride all the way to Hastings Street?

For those of us who feel like donning a helmet why not hire a pushbike and explore where all these paths lead? Ride up to Hastings Street in Noosa or down to the marina for a spot of fish and chips. Continue onto Tewantin and have a look at Parkyn Hut, an historic miners hut they bought all the way from Gympie many years ago.

Cook your breaky for something different? Many BBQs align the river front and it is a popular choice for families looking for something cheap to do. Always a nice way to do some family bonding eh?

Take to the river in a kayak. To hire a kayak Phone: 54555651.

If you feel like something a little faster, there's always a jetski...
