Organic coffee and a slice of lime dairy free cheesecake?
Well, I can see why the Noosa Farmers Markets are pulling the crowds. Who doesn't love fresh food? You can buy your weekly fruit and veggies or pull up a chair and devour a tasty morsel with an organic coffee of course.

It was great to see people arriving on their push bikes and I noticed a whole family riding home with shopping bags swaying on their handle bars. Way to go!

Grab a bike and peddle to the markets

There is such a happening vibe here it's impossible not to smile and feel wonderful simply wandering around this great crowd. Mind you, the sun has finally decided to shine after days of rain....

The first happy chap I came across was Lewis Porter, who had a really great voice and an even greater smile. Lewis had a darn fine voice and belted out a few numbers that were easy listening.

Lewis Porter

Quite the character, his quick wit quickly won over the passing parade who kindly kept throwing coins and a few notes into his guitar case. Great karma supporting our buskers eh?

Chocolate Provisions
Whole Food Provisions

Nathan and Jaclyn have been running their business "Chocolate Provisions" for 5 years at the markets. They also have a stall at the Pineapple Growers Markets and the Kawana Farmers Markets.

They use the purist wholesome ingredients and the outcome?
A range of quality healthy and natural cakes – less diary/sugar, gluten free, organic as well as an amazing range of dips such as pumpkin, hummus, chilli ... the list goes on.
Yum!
Lime cheesecake and Pineapple coconut cake

35 years ago when I was a total vego, I loved experimenting making tofu pumpkin desserts etc - but strange looks were very common. So, it brings joy to my heart to see a business like this - succeeding! Hail progress! The lime cheesecake just went off in my mouth, with so many flavours. The little cake was crumbly but very tasty and knowing I wasn't putting any preservatives or sugar into my body was a great feeling of satisfaction for me. Ph: 54762501.

Many of the cakes are made from raw soaked nuts & are avocado based. They are then seasoned with finger limes and lemon myrtle and lime juice. Sweetened with yacon syrup and agave (yacon is a really good live probiotic- a really good sugar ).

Organic Healthy Cakes for you

There are several choices of wonderful fresh fruit and vege stands. I just happened to buy a few things from this one.
Fresh Is Best
Fresh Vege's at your service..

Vege stand
Fresh Natural Produced Vegies
For about $12 I bought a good selection of fresh vegies, celery, zucchini, snow peas etc

AND if pulling up a chair and indulging in a yummy breakfast is more your gig, then why not try one of these beaut looking gourmet omelettes.
Breakky?
For under $10 this looked like a nutritious breakfast

After all the rain we've had though, don't wear your best shoes here. Throw on a pair of oldies, or boots. Leave the heels at home ladies - believe me, you won't be needing them here. It's a small market that's easy to get around (not so easy in the rain) but with so many fine stalls and amazing foods to taste it's certainly worth the effort to go along - even if it's raining!

Looks like a great market, but those cakes look anything but 'baby'.
