I am a freelance writer trying to make my mark on the world, living in the beautiful town of Noosa, on the Sunshine Coast.
Celebrating our community & enjoying a free family fun day
The Biosphere Festival is a fantastic community event with everything from free demonstrations from groups like Gekoes Wildlife Presentations and the Coast Guard to keynote speakers, such as Dr. Susan Davis, chair of Noosa Biosphere Ltd. and Dr. Scott Richardson, Ph.D. of the Tourism Committee.

There is great food, face painting, performances by local artists and even a Zumba dance party. This spectacular day aims at promoting the reasons behind the area's biosphere reserve status, and to promote and celebrate the community's achievements.

The event is free, and with so many things to see and do, it's the perfect excuse to take the family out and enjoy everything the festival has to offer.
