Visit one of Australia's most famous gardens

Celebrate the season of spring at Nooroo Garden - open to the public on Father's Day weekend, during the spring school holidays and Labour Day long weekend!

Check out the dates below:

  • Open Weekend: 2 and 3 September

  • Open Weekend: 9 and 10 September

  • Open Every Day from: 16 September until 29 October

  • Established in 1880, Nooroo is one of Australia's best-known gardens and showcases the beauty and spectacle of plant and flower species from around the world, as well as Australian native plants.

Immerse yourself in over 100 years of horticultural history and admire the first flowers to bloom in spring - from beautiful daffodils and camellias to magnificent magnolias and rhododendrons.

The huge banks of mollis azaleas, as well as the extensive beds of bluebells, crocus and other bulbs are also a sight to behold in early spring.

Marvel at the original plantings including oaks, chestnuts, ash and beech (some of which are over 100 years old!) augmented by a wide variety of maples and other deciduous trees.

Don't miss the stunning rose gardens and the old tennis court which has been converted into the world-famous wisteria garden!

Visitors are welcome to enjoy a picnic in the garden, however, please remove any rubbish when you head home.

Connect to nature this spring at Nooroo Garden. All-day entry is $10 per adult and $2 per child (up to 12 years). Pay at the gate (electronic facilities are available).

Free parking is available very close to the entrance of the property.

Nooroo Garden now has a Cafe Kiosk on site. Espresso coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of teas are available for sale on weekends during the spring season. Cookies, toasties, soup and a small selection of soft drinks and water are also available for you to enjoy.

All areas of the Nooroo Garden are accessible by walker and wheelchair.

Pets are welcome to visit Nooroo Garden provided that they are supervised closely and kept on a leash at all times.

Plan your visit today by heading to www.nooroomtwilson.com.au and joining Facebook.
