Nooroo Garden is open to the public every day from 10 am to 4 pm - including Easter long Weekend and ANZAC Day!

Established in 1880, Nooroo Garden is one of Australia's best-known gardens and showcases the beauty and spectacle of plant and flower species from around the world, as well as Australian native plants.

Come along with your family and friends and admire the wonderful maples, forsythia, liquid amber and many other rare plants in all their autumn splendour.

Marvel at the original plantings including oaks, chestnuts, ash and beech (some of which are over 100 years old!) augmented by a wide variety of other deciduous trees.

Plan your visit today! Visitors are welcome to enjoy a picnic in the garden, however, please remove any rubbish when you head home.

Connect to nature this autumn at Nooroo Garden. All-day entry is $10 per adult and $2 per child (up to 12 years). Pay at the gate (electronic facilities are available).

Free parking is available very close to the entrance of the property.

Nooroo Garden now has a cafe kiosk on site. Espresso coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of teas available for sale on weekends during the autumn season. Cookies, toasties, soup and a small selection of soft drinks and water are also available for you to enjoy.

All areas of the Nooroo Garden are accessible by walker and wheelchair.

Pets are welcome to visit Nooroo Garden provided that they are supervised closely and kept on a leash at all times.

Plan your visit today by heading to www.nooroomtwilson.com.au and following @nooroogardenmountwilson Facebook.

If you are planning a trip, please see some tips below:
  • If you are travelling from Sydney, the Bells Line of Road between Sydney and Mt Wilson is open to the public and visitors can safely travel to and from Mount Wilson.
  • If you are travelling through Lithgow, you can continue driving on Bells Line of Road to Mt Wilson.
  • If you are travelling from Leura (or close by), travel to Mt Wilson via the Great Western Highway. When you reach Mt Victoria, you will need to turn right onto The Causeway. When you reach the end of the Causeway, you will need to turn right onto Bells Line of Road and then follow the directions to Mt Wilson.
