The small regional town of Noorat has been fighting its way back from fading into history over the past few years. With a revitalised pub, a new general store and most recently a pop-up millinery store, they are well on their way. New gardens, pathways and sculptures have also increased Noorat's attractiveness.

Starting this weekend is the next instalment in Noorat's revival in the form of a new market.



The will be held on the last Saturday of the month from May until November from 9am until 2.30pm. It will showcase the projects and enterprises of local people and others from nearby locales, with homemade and artisan crafts, vintage items, gifts, candles, cakes and locally grown produce. Throughout the day live music will keep you entertained.

The site for the market is the car parking space between The Shed, the new general store and the Mt Noorat Hotel on the Terang-Mortlake Rd. There is plenty of other parking, public toilets are available and a very pleasant little playground will help the little people have a fun day.

For the early risers, grab a cup of coffee and some breakfast at The Shed or if you come later in the day, lunch and/or a refreshing beverage will be available at the Mt Noorat Hotel.



The market will be on whether there be rain, hail or sunshine so mark it in your calendar and come out to the friendly town of Noorat and find something special.
