I'm a grandmother, a retired teacher, an avid reader who loves historical re-enactment, English Country Dance, writing and Op Shopping. My business www.StepIntoHistory.com.au is designed to help children experience history through school incursions.
This is the most unusual park I've come across. Located at 88-118 Station Road Bethania, it has a rural feel to it. It has an electric barbecue, toilets (which we expect to see) but very little play equipment. It does have a sandpit or 'field' of springy animals - the kind that are usually interspersed amongst larger play equipment.
On your mark ...
On the council website, it is described as having fitness equipment. And it sure does. As well as the circuit training equipment, there's a sprinting track with numbered lanes where you have your own races. There's another large area with coloured patterns on it. I have no idea what it could be.
