Easiest way to spend a Sunday

Sundays can generally be regarded as the "We have nothing to do" day. Families with kids are always looking at something to do, so as to keep the children busy and the parents from going mad.

So perhaps that's why Family Fun days were born, so that those Sundays aren't wasted on meaningless nothings and that people have something to do. This is also why they invented the O`Jays.

Which is why this Sunday, the 24th of February, the City of Greater Dandenong hosts its annual Family Fun Sports Day, hooray for entertainment.

Located at Ross Reserve on Memorial Drive, right next to Sandown Racecourse, this is the perfect opportunity for the family to partake in numerous fun and healthy (important) activities, from rock climbing to arts and crafts, from food stalls to sporting activities, there's something for absolutely everyone.

Fun Fun Fun

So you have a day that the family can go along to and enjoy, and it's free. What could possibly be better than that? Well this.
After the day you've had of sweating it out, why not head to the Noble Park Aquatic Centre who are celebrating their 1st Birthday? And Birthday parties generally mean some sort of freebies right? Well of course, because the centre are opening their doors for free from 1 to 5pm. Is this real life?

Enjoy their state of the art facilities, and Melbourne's biggest water slide. Opportunities like these don't come often, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better way to spend your day.

So if you're thinking about spending a lazy Sunday indoors, why not think again and have fun in a way the whole family can enjoy? And remember, it's what the people want.
