Saturday 10th October and Sunday 11th October 2015 (10am to 4pm) weekend is the date to put in your diary as the Noble Park Community Centre Art Show is celebrating their 10th birthday. Entry to the event at Ross Reserve, Memorial Drive, Noble Park, is by gold coin donation. This not-for-profit event run by volunteers with administration support from the Centre, promises to be its best show yet.
Friday 9th October 2015 at 7pm marks the Opening Night and the show will be officiallly opened by City of Greater Dandenong Mayor Sean O'Reilly. Prizes will be awarded by Judge and City of Greater Dandenong Curator, David O'Halloran. A curator of 30 years experience and currently the Visual and Community Art Coordinator at the City of Greater Dandenong, David has a Fine Art Degree majoring in Painting from the Unviserity of Tasmania and Graduate Diploma in Museum Studies.
Bring the family along and be inspired by the art show that has become an institution of the community and view the work of its many talented artists in a variety of mediums. It's fast becoming the exhibition to see in the art world calendar. You might even find a piece you absolutely adore to adorn your walls.
