No Name Lane Cafe

I had been to no name lane a few times early last year - but after seeing that they had made the Most Popular Cafes of 2012 compiled by the website Beanhunter (by customer reviews and votes), it reminded me that this awesome place is just on my doorstep in Broadbeach and to pay it another visit. So I did.
I really like this place, it's slightly out of the way and as the name would suggest it's pretty small and unassuming, simply letting the excellent coffee, relaxed setting and subtle decor do the talking.
There are no real gimmicks and they don't have a huge menu offering everything under the sun, but the coffee is one of the best you can get - and as I found out on my last visit - the food is just as good.
They offer snacks and sandwiches which are made fresh on site - I had a roast chicken, avocado, feta and salad sandwich on Turkish bread and I have to say it was really lovely. Well made, well presented and very reasonably priced. For my mocha and sandwich it was just $14.
Staff are cool and laid back but offer a friendly service and keep the place ticking over very efficiently. It has indoor and outdoor seating but it is a small cafe so sometimes it can get pretty busy especially on the weekend.
It's open from 7:30 am and closes mid afternoon at 4pm. It's a shame it's not open later but being based on Oracle Boulevard there are plenty of other places that cater for a later crowd.
It's located on No Name Lane - opposite Bavarian Bier Cafe and just next to Endota Spa in Oracle Boulevard.
A small but perfectly formed cafe which is ideal for a quiet coffee and a read of the paper, meeting mates or lunch or whatever takes your fancy.
It is certainly worth a visit - especially now it's "officially" one of the best places for coffee in Australia - but I knew that already.
