No Lights No Lycra Melbourne

Published April 19th 2014

A new dancing phenomenon has hit the halls of Melbourne.

For all those people that love to get down and boogie (sober on a weeknight!) but don't want to attend a formal dance lesson or an aerobics class, 'No Lights, No Lycra' is the perfect alternative.

For $5 you can dance the night away (well for an hour and a half at least) to various hits, that will be sure to get your heart rate pumping.

Any outfit is welcome (as long as you're not in lycra) and any move goes. The atmosphere is fun and friendly and no-one is there to judge.

Being pretty much in darkness you feel uninhibited and free to dance like you've never danced before…move over Beyonce!

No Lights, No Lycra sessions are held weekly in Hampton Brunswick, Fitzroy, Footscray, South Yarra and in the CBD.
