The catch-phrase of No Lights No Lycra is 'dance like nobody's watching' and that is exactly what you can expect of a NLNL event!
NLNL is a movement started by two students within the Melbourne dance community who believed that everyone is capable of dancing, and that by moving freely, without fear of others watching or judging, is a deeply powerful part of free expression.

Starting at 6.45pm and going for an hour to 7.45pm, NLNL is a perfect nightclubbing-free event that is an incredible opportunity for the whole family to get together and party like it is 1995. Sans the alcohol, fending off inebriated pub patrons and of course, the lycra. Better than a gym workout, and thankfully lacking mirrors to watch yourself bust a move. With the lack of blue- light disco's available for older teenagers in the Gold Coast, NLNL is also a safer alternative to unsupervised teen shenanigans - and the perfect place for groups of young people to have fun without the need to impress anybody else.
