Dream a little dream
Ninth Street is located in the archetypal Mooloolaba Wharf, offering tasty burgers, hot dogs and 'fantasious' ice creams.
Ninth Street brings the American style of foods, drinks and ice-creams to the Sunshine Coast. The American spirit bigger is better is behind the creations of great burgers, hot dogs and awesome desserts.
Ninth Street team is dedicated to creating a unique food experience. The personnel is friendly, the service is professional, and the atmosphere is fun, vibrant and party like.
There is a large room inside with tables and chairs, which is ideal for groups and for families. There is also an outdoor area that offers quietness and relaxation. Ninth Street is available for private celebrations. The place is an ideal venue for gathering to mark a special occasion to remember or celebrate.
The menu includes Hot Dogs, Veggie Dogs, Beef Burger, Chicken Burger, Vegetarian Burger and Sides. There are plenty of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.
Plain fries are $7, a Beef Burger The Thief with beef patty, cheese, burger sauce, pickles, lettuce, tomato & pickled onions $13, New York Hot Dog $10. Make it a double patty $4 extra, make it a triple patty $7 extra.
There is also a kid menu, all served with a juice box for $13.
Sundaes are $9 and they are items, where again, Ninth Street unleash creativity, aesthetic sense and fantasy. The Giant Sunday is $29 with eight scoops of ice creams, one waffle, three donuts, chocolate sauce, M&M, whipped cream, sprinkles and a cherry on the top.
I discovered this place strolling in the Mooloolaba Wharf. I went inside Ninth Street and I grabbed a menu. The burgers looked okay, so I went to order the food at the register. The young personnel was very professional and helpful, all nicely dressed and with light makeup. The music, compulsory to create the atmosphere inside, was too loud for me since the girl at the register and I could hardly hear each other. There was another area outside where a celebration was just finishing off, so I sat outside in a quieter area. The burger was nice and my partner enjoyed his hot dog.
