They're so fun, you'll want to play them too

I've written up some great games to play on the Nintendo DS for kids.

SCRIBBLENAUTS: Is a fun game where kids write something down on the notepad and it comes to life. You solve puzzles by thinking about what objects to use and you write it down in the notepad for the character, Maxwell, to use. My brothers like playing this game.
My rating: 8/10
Brother's rating: 9/10
Brother's comment: 'Get this game for your kids, they will really enjoy it. It makes you think but in a fun way.'

NINTENDOGS: Get the kids to look after their own virtual puppy dog; they can give it a name, talk to it and teach it tricks. It is a lot of fun and it comes with majority of the new DS's if you buy a bundle.
My rating: 6/10
Cousin's rating: 7/10
Cousin's comment: 'I love looking after my puppy, it is fun and I get to play it once a day.'

MY SPANISH COACH: Learning a new language is fun, and for kids they really enjoy it, usually as it gives them something new and different to learn. The game teaches kids how to say Spanish words and to construct sentences. A good mind growing game to let the kids play for about 10 - 15 minutes.
My rating: 6/10
Cousin's rating: 6/10
Cousin's comment: 'I like learning new languages because then I can speak it to someone from that country. I have learnt 10 words in Spanish.'

CLUBHOUSE GAMES: A very simple game with lots of mini games inside, including bowling, soda shake, cards, darts, billiards, dominos and more, the kids can verse each other on their own DS's or play solo against the CPU computer. This game has very simple graphics and no violence whatsoever. A quiet game for them to play if you want to keep them busy for a little while.
My rating: 9/10
Brother's rating: 9/10
Brother's comment: 'I like playing this if I have to go to the airport with my mum or at the doctors office waiting room. I like playing bowling and I play against my brother on it all the time.'

Forget Highschool Musical, rock out with the Grease game by playing against friends in songs, compete in dance offs and learn the lyrics to ten of the great songs from the movie. Get your little girl to fall in love with Grease.
My rating: 9/10
My sister's rating: 7/10
Sister's comment: 'I do like this game but I don't know the movie so sometimes I don't understand it. I like listening to the songs though.'

Remember the TV show? Well get the kids to have a go at this awesome question game. Australian based with more than 1.800 questions, the kids can choose a topic and see if they are smarter than a 5th grader. You can choose different modes on this game or play sudden death. Its a good game and gets children to think rather than just jam their thumbs around on the keypad.
My rating: 9/10
Brother's rating: 9/10
Brother's friend, Conrad's rating: 6/10
Brother's comment: 'I like this game and when I'm in the mood I can play it for about an hour, it's that addicting. I like the questions and I learn things from the questions I get wrong.
Conrad's comment: I like this game it's fun but I can only play it for around 20 minutes because I get bored quick but getting the answers right is fun.'

This game is fun as it teaches kids to cook (in a way) and they have to follow instructions on how to make food to make 'mama' happy. You can make all different types of food and unlock new food to cook. My favourite is the hot dogs and the pasta.
My rating: 7/10
Sister's rating: 8/10
Sister's comment: 'Really fun game because I love cooking. Even my brother likes playing it on my DS sometimes.'

Hope you all enjoyed this article and think about purchasing some of these games for your kids.
