Love your dog so much you can't bear to leave the adorable pooch at home? The good folks at The Tivoli will be hosting a dog-friendly music festival next month for owner and pooch to get excited about. This inaugural music festival will celebrate the 9th birthday of one of Brisbane's favourite music store Jet Black Cat Music and what better way than to gather the troops and put on a decent spread. Jet Black Cat Music along with Handsome Tours will be hosting a one-day three-stage music festival that is dubbed the Brissy block party, not to be missed.
Just in time to see out summer, this festival offers loads of musical talent spread across three stages. Inside, the main theatre stage, the Double Dingo stage in the What's Golden Room and outside in the carpark the musical talents will flex their fingers as they jam the day away. Those hitting the stage include Aldous Harding (NZ), Angie McMahon, Julia Jacklin, Allah-Las (USA), Kevin Morby (USA), Kikagaku Moyo (Japan) Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and many more.
The organisers of this festival have everything covered, with human-friendly food offerings such as BBQ, sausage sizzle, coffee, bevvies to knockback and a plethora of food-trucks to explore. Not only will the festival provide food-trucks, but record crates to plough through, market stalls and activities to inspect.
