As part of this year's exciting Adelaide Fringe line-up, Nimbus Trio are proudly presenting an all-new music program, including the SA premiere of works from their new album Novum!
Tickets are now on sale for their anticipated performance at Elder Hall at The University of Adelaide.
Melbourne-based contemporary classical group, Nimbus Trio, consist of composer/pianist Kitty Xiao, flautist Jessica Laird and violinist Chloe Sanger. Together, Nimbus Trio are advocators of new music, who commission and perform exciting works by Australian and international composers, including Kitty's own original compositions.
The group's latest endeavour, Novum, explores the sound world of composer Kitty Xiao from 2013 to 2016.
The engaging 50-minute performance will explore a new expression for the piano trio and evoke images of renowned Australian photographers Jane Brown and Narelle Autio. The fascinating program also explores themes of human potential in face of itself and the world.
There will be one performance only on Saturday 17 March, 2pm at Elder Hall at The University of Adelaide. Early bookings are advised as places are limited. To secure your ticket today, please visit www.adelaidefringe.com.au .
