Nimbin Rocks Retreat is located up and through the interior of the Tweed Valley. It changed hands about 6 months ago and was bought by Amanda and her business partner.
There's a room for you!
It is in a state of change at the moment but you are more than welcome to come and stay now. What a beautifully situated piece of property. It is quiet and serene and just the kind of place that deserves to be called a retreat
Picture this: sitting out at a Yoga retreat, mountains around you, stillness, blue sky, cows, sheep and chickens on the areas that are a working farm. You can find inner stillness and serenity to go deep within. Then at the end of the day, you can bask under the stars that illuminate the sky.
Serene and peaceful!
How about a place to get married? Can you see yourself, standing in the beautiful countryside, surrounded by your loving family and friends, all celebrating the moment? These guys have installed a full-on industrial kitchen that can accommodate caterers. The dining room is not ready yet but once it is, it will be a wonderful, intimate spot, complete with floor to ceiling windows and a stunning view. They have also acquired their liquor license.
And you will find that there is accommodation for several of your guests.
Wide open spaces!
If you are looking for a place to do team building, this may also be for you. With the great outdoors on your doorstep, there is lots of space to connect with each other. There is also some hiking in the vicinity if you want everyone to be active.
Or perhaps you just want to hold a conference for a day or two, this could be the place for you.
The BBQ area!
For the time being though, you may want to come and check it out, see the potential that is here while it is taking shape. As we speak, there is still work to be done but keep an open mind as it is a stellar location.
You will need to bring your own food to cook and drinks. There is a barbeque area outside complete with sink and running water. There is also a guest kitchen that houses a stove, microwave, and fridge if you want to make use. The rooms have a small counter and bar fridge if there is only a few of you.
The pool!
Rooms have double beds and there are adjoining rooms with twin beds, perfect if you are looking to come and just hang out for a week with the kids. Relaxation is the key to the retreat. There is a pool, plenty of sitting space, lots of room for cricket and the kids to run around.
The Nimbin Rocks Retreat is situated between 2 towns. Lismore is the bigger town in the area,18 kilometres away, with approximately 40,000 inhabitants, lots of shopping and things going on. Nimbim, 11 kilometres away, is more a throwback to the Hippie era and is an eclectic place full of art, crafts, passion and a few places to get a really good meal. It is a must see.
