Experience the modern feel of Japan in Vietnam
On our first trip to Vietnam, we decided to go on an organised tour package with Vietnam Unique Tours. Our first couple of nights were spent at Hotel Nikko Saigon. The hotel located a bit out of the very center of Ho Chi Minh City, but it does not mean it is far. Its location is really ideal to visit the city without the noise of the Old Quarter.
As our first impression of accommodation in Vietnam, the Hotel Nikko exceeds expectations. It's so modern, clean and spacious. Connected to its own mall you can also do a bit of shopping. It isn't exactly a traditional, cultural-style type of place, but it is a great hotel to settle in with all the comforts at an international standard.
The room we stayed in was clean, large and comfortable. Had the best night's sleep there – super comfy bed and pillows. The bathroom is also spacious, with toiletries & amenities galore and at high quality, I especially loved the bath tub, absolutely wonderful.
Other than the room, the standout experience would have to be their buffet breakfast. The breakfast buffet was abundant, with a large selection of almost anything you could ever crave for, from a selection of pastries, cold cuts, sausages, hash browns, eggs, cereals, yogurts, fruit, local dishes, etc.
Super delish - near the buffet is a play area too, the kids loved it!
