Every Thursday night from 5pm-9pm, Sydneysiders will be able to enjoy a night at Australia's first and recently revamped Australian Museum with transformed spaces and exhibitions, as well as food and drink and entertainment by local DJs.

There will be FREE general admission and this will include entry to all permanent exhibitions.



There will also be opportunities to experience 'Unsettled', a First Nation's truth-telling exhibition throughout May, and cultural experiences to science and innovation.

Some other collections and exhibits at the Museum include Natural Sciences, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Collection, Pacific, World Cultures, Museum Archives & Research, Collection Care & Conservation, The Westpac Long Gallery, and much more.



Activities and experiences include a special pop-up bar and lounge area, live music featuring some of Sydney's best DJs, and more.

The Prehistoric Playground is the perfect spot for kids and big kids to get creative in this play space. It features a Fossil Lab, Paperassic Park, and Take Flight activities.

Visit the Museum after dark and have fun exploring the collections and exhibits and dancing the night away with the live music entertainment.
