This playground is located on Banksia St near Nightcliff Jetty. This playground is a great place for kids' birthday parties during the dry season in Darwin because the hosts don't have to worry about entertaining party guests. Just let them occupy themselves with the playground equipment there.

The playground has sun cover and rubber mats underneath. It's situated among big trees that give extra shade during day time. There is a drinking water fountain, plenty of picnic tables and benches, and you also can find a free BBQ here. With just a little walk you can find public toilets.

This playground has two swings, a big see saw, a big climbing frame and two slippery slides. If the playground is not enough for your kids, there is big green lawn at the park near this playground. where you can play backyard games or kick some balls. I saw some people flying their drones, too.

Nightcliff foreshore, just across from this playground, and its rock pool will invite you to explore some more. Just watch your children across from the playground to the beach, because it is divided by a bicycle path and the playground isn't fenced.
