Night Walking

Home > Sydney >
Published November 20th 2008
Ever wondered what weird, wonderful, and whacky creatures lurk in the Sydney Bush after dark?

Go on a guided night walking tour in Lane Cove National Park and wonder no more.

Starting at 8pm and lasting for 1.5 to 2 hours this tour will take you along part of the Great North Walk Track and Lane Cove river.

You'll be taking torches and spotlights with you to illuminate the lives of little critters sich as Possums and Owls, and I'm told a host of others.

It's essential to book beforehand by calling 02 9472 9300 and it costs just $6.00 for an adult, and $3.00 per child.

For Friday (tomorrow) there is currently lots of space however this walk is usually quite popular and the next one won't be for a while. Start dialing if you want to go.

The walk normally starts at the Lady Game Entrance to the Park which can be seen on this map at the intersection of Lady Game Drive with Max Allen Drive. However be sure to check when you book.

Why? See some of the strange creatures who share Sydney with you.
