Gangs of Melbourne
The early 1900s saw the rise of street gangs in South Melbourne and Montague, with the Flying Angels, Salt Lake Bruisers and Paradise Push making headlines and frightening residents. Join librarian and history detective Heather McKay on Wednesday 20 September as she investigates the mean streets of local history. This free session will run between 6pm and 7pm at the Southbank Library. Bookings essential.
