Taking photos at night is vastly different than taking them during the day.

Photoh are hosting a Capturing Christmas Lights special edition class on Sunday 18th December 2016!

Photoh will show you the differences in approaching night photography, including the use of long exposure, flash, and shutter speed optimised for darker surroundings.


Learn how to adjust your settings and choose the right equipment to help you capture the views you're after.

In addition to this, you'll also be shown basic photography principles that are the cornerstones to good photography. Learn about aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and a range of other techniques used in photography.

Your host will also show you how to adjust focal lengths and lenses, as well as lighting and exposure, best suited to your environment.


Practice your new skills as you take a walking tour around the city with your host. By the end of the course, you'll be able to take great photos in any setting or situation after dark.
