Sydney and Melbourne have long enjoyed all the flavour, colour and atmosphere of Good Food Month, and one of the festival's signature events has been the highly popular Night Noodle Markets. Now it's finally Brisbane's turn to see what all the fuss has been about because from Thursday July 17th to Sunday July 27th you can experience a real Asian hawker market right here in South Bank.

So Brisbaneites, it's time to polish up your skills with the chopsticks. At the Night Noodle Markets you'll be able to mingle with the happy, hungry crowds while you check out the offerings from up to 25 separate Asian food stalls. Everything from dumplings to desserts, pho to Japanese pizza, ramen and of course those juicy, tangy, spicy, or sweet noodles will be available with Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Malaysian cuisines on delicious display.

Some of Brisbane's best and most loved Asian restaurants and food trucks will make an appearance including Chitty Banh Banh (by Jake and Elle from My Kitchen Rules), Luke Nguyen's Fat Noodle , The Bun Mobile food truck, Saigon Alley Cafe and Okonomi House

Weekends at the Night Noodle Markets provide a great opportunity for a special picnic dinner treat for the kids and on week nights you can wind down with workmates and friends with a bowl of something steaming and filling and a glass of your favourite tipple. There will be nightly entertainment and bar areas with seating courtesy of Coopers, Thatchers, Yalumba and Tanqueray. Winter in Brisbane just got a whole lot more flavoursome.
