On Saturday the 28th of May 2022, you are invited to join a First Nations guide in welcoming the evening stars and discovering the creatures of the night in Para Wirra Conservation Park. It will be an evening around the fire experiencing a cultural journey. You will learn about the First Nations people's connection on Country. A lot also happens after dark and this is your opportunity to see an array of animals, light trails and glow-in-the-dark things on a short walk around the lake.
The event itself is free, however, a vehicle entry fee does apply for the conservation park. Bookings are required and can be made online via their Eventbrite website. Please bring a torch and meet at the lake picnic area at 6pm on the day. Access is via Lake Road West in Yattalunga. Do be quick to book if you're interested as spots are limited.
