NIDA short courses for adults

This spring, the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is rolling out its performing arts program of short courses for adults in Sydney, encouraging everyone to spice up these holidays with some performing arts.

Offering classes in acting, design, writing and more, these courses offer opportunities for participants to find their creative voice through fun and unique performing arts experiences.

NIDA Open has been educating and training Australians in theatre, TV and film for over 20 years and all courses have been developed in accordance with NIDA's world-renowned practice-based training and methodologies.

This style of training is supported by expert tutors whose background in theatre, film and TV gives students the latest industry-level knowledge, and fantastic insight into a career in the performing arts.

Courses run from 24 September at NIDA (215 Anzac Parade, Kensington) and The Concourse (409 Victoria Ave, Chatswood).

Some highlights include:

  • Acting Essentials

  • Costume Design Essentials

  • Dramatic Writing Essentials
