If you’re looking for a creative activity for your children this summer, NIDA Open has a range of engaging short courses on offer for Grades K-12. The Summer Program features fun skills-based training for all ages and aspirations at two locations, NIDA Southbank and Abbotsford Convent.

NIDA Open school holiday classes are the perfect opportunity for budding young creatives to build confidence, acquire new skills, make friends and have fun!

Ages 5 upwards can become Mini Pop Stars, attend Drama School or immerse themselves in song and stories from beloved musicals. Maybe the stories of Roald Dahl or a musical theatre program can inspire your kids. Grades 3-6 can attend a screen acting boot camp, a 5-day drama school or create their own wizard character with the ever-popular NIDAWarts screen acting course. Older children from grades 7-12 can explore screen acting, musical theatre or a 5-day drama school.

Designed by experienced program managers, our courses focus on practical skills and collaboration, providing an engaging and transformative learning experience for students of all ages. Our teaching artists bring their creative practice and industry experience to our classrooms to deliver contemporary student learning in a supportive class environment.
