The rocking kids concert and slime of your life
Parents may cringe at this mini festival but tweens will love it. Back for its third year, this music festival and green slime party for children will see performances from Aussie Cody Simpson, hip hoppers Justice Crew and Timomatic, with more acts to be announced. There are two concerts (11am and 6pm) which are ticketed events but there is also an outdoor carnival area, with games and interactive activities, that is open to the general public. It is free and can be enjoyed before and after the shows. Costs for rides, merchandise, food and drinks will apply.

New this year, is a meet and greet experience with your favourite celebrity for which you will need a separate ticket. Go backstage, receive a souvenir lanyard, have your photo taken and your merchandise signed by a star. Merchandise packs can be purchased and include a special edition Slimefest T-shirt and silicon wristband.

There will also be DJ's and special unannounced guests. This is a family-friendly event and grown-ups can attend. Designated areas will be set up, including the Premium Mosh zone which is for children only (no adults), aged 8-15 years and over 140cm in height.

Tickets can be purchased here.

Tonnes of green slime and water so don't wear a white shirt or your favourite clothes as you're likely to end up a messy, green monster. You might want to take a towel and a change of clothes.

Have fun.
