Sports fans reach new heights

The new $95m East stand, inside NIB Stadium at Perth Oval, was completed just in time for Western Force rugby fans to enjoy a higher experience of the game.

In fact, workmen were putting finishing touches to the stand as the fans came rushing through the gates for the first home game of Western Force at the end of March.

The new stand increase the total capacity of the stadium to 20500. New state of the art video screens bring spectators closer to the action.

With new improved lighting and food outlets, this completes the upgrade the State Government started last year, with having the South stand rebuilt.

At last Perth Glory soccer fans and Western Force fans can now enjoy better viewing of the game.
