NGV Teens have a couple of events upcoming to connect our youth (ages 13-18 years for both events) to the experts in the industry that are of interest to them. The series of events as follows are FREE and online via Webex and no booking is required.

Meet the creatives and industry leaders at these events and gain insight into the diverse roles and opportunities in this field. Through informal discussions and illustrated presentations learn about the journey of the speakers themselves. Be sure to come prepared with your questions.

Broadsheet event speaker Nick Connellan is a journalist and editor and his current role is Publications Director. He manages the production of Broadsheets quarterly newspapers which are distributed to thousands of cafes across Sydney and Melbourne.

Fashion event speaker Sang Thai is a fashion designer, lecturer and creative practice researcher and currently teaches at RMIT University. With extensive industry design experience in Melbourne, Sydney and New York, Sang is currently a Master's by Research candidate in the School of Fashion and Textiles at RMIT University.
