Ngaiire, live in Melbourne
Ngaiire Joseph has a story to tell, and luckily for the rest of us, she chooses to tell it through song. Powerfully ethereal and eclectic songs that are brought to life by her stunning voice, innate musicality, and enchanting live performances. It's a paradox really, such a small person with such great raw talent, such a big voice, and such a powerful stage presence.

As story telling goes, Ngaiire has more checkered experiences to draw upon than most. Her compelling journey has taken her from a tribal childhood in Papua New Guinea, to an early experience of the reality TV fame mill here in Australia, to mellower times as one of the brightest lights of the country's live music scene. She recently shared some of those experiences through song in her role as one of the Barefoot Divas, in Walk a Mile in my Shoes, the smash hit of this year's Sydney Festival. Lucky for Melbourne, she will also be bringing her unique mix of soul infused electronica to The Hi Fi Bar and The Corner Hotel on the 9th and 10th of November respectively.

A 'vast, compelling voice,' SMH

Described by the Sydney Morning Herald as possessing a "vast, compelling voice," the Sydneysider will be wowing the crowd with tracks from her forthcoming album (due out early next year), and songs from her formidable repertoire. Her performance will give you goose bumps, and definitely leave you wanting more. Don't worry, you'll be seeing a lot more of this future superstar, mark my words.
