Event:
Don't miss this travelling Hunter Valley wine bar
Pop ups, as every cool hunter can tell you, are the phenomenon of the moment. From cake shops to restaurants, and bars to vintage fashion they sprout up enthusiastically, spread their good cheer in short doses, then move on to the next venue. Six larrikin wine makers from the world-renowned Hunter Valley wine region have been perfecting the fine art of popping up since 2011 and you're in luck. Their fun, famous Caravan of Courage is rolling in to town for one night only in May, and you're invited.

The Boys Behind the Brand

Next Generation Hunter Valley is a premium blend of the talents of six cutting edge wine makers who've combined old vineyards with new technology and litres of love to be at the forefront of contemporary Australian wine-making. Next Generation's vigorous vintners are David Hook (David Hooke Wines), Andrew Thomas (Thomas Wines), Rhys Eather (Meerea Park Wines), Nick Paterson (Mistletoe Wines), Mike De Iuliis (De Iuliis Wines), and Nick Margan (Margan).

This likely bunch are wine makers extraordinaire? You'd better believe it!

The Event

The boys are beginning their 2013 travelling wine bar tour, One More For the Road in Brisbane on Friday 3 May. All their combined passion and knowledge, as well as twenty-four of their best wines, will be under one roof at the very stylish Loft West End from 6pm to 9pm. You can 'meet the boys behind the brands', taste their delicious wines, and perhaps learn a thing or two about wine making in the process. You might even learn to tell your esters from your enzymes and must from maceration.

The prize also includes exclusive tickets to the after-party, and after a a few weeks on the road it's bound to be a great party. Total prize value is over $1,000. Peter Drayton Wines also produces sparkling wines and a selection of Liqueur Fortified wines. The extent of the range is truly exceptional for a small, boutique producer. More visit - http://www.pdwines.com.au/
