The Newport Easter Art Festival is family-friendly event, taking place over the Easter break, from Friday 25th to Monday 28th of March, 2016.
Over four days, locals and visitors will be treated to an exciting range of art offerings, cultural activities and events celebrating the vibrant culture of Newport.
The festival will commence with an Opening Night on Friday 25th March (Good Friday) celebrating an Exhibition of artworks produced by artists from the Pittwater Artists Trail.
The Opening Night will run from 6pm and feature Guest Speaker Tony 'Captain Goodvibes' Edwards. The Exhibition will then remain open to the public from 10am daily until Monday 28th of March, 2016. Click here for more information on the Opening Night and Exhibition.
Following the Opening Night, it's time to enjoy the Easter Saturday Festival Day on Saturday 26th March 2016.
The festivities will commence at 10.30am and throughout the day families can enjoy a fantastic selection of interactive activities and events, including a FREE ephemeral art workshop with local artist Leonie Barton (bookings required), an intimate artisan market, live music performances, delicious food and coffee, kids Easter craft activities, and an Easter Bike Parade with great prizes up for grabs.
