Plan a splash-tacular family outing
Newmarket Pool is jam packed with facilities - there really is something for everyone. Be prepared for a lengthy visit, I recently visited with extended family and they didn't want to leave!

The highlight of this venue is a 30m enclosed slide with a double loop. Unlike most water slides, riders exit into a shallow stream. This is particularly ideal for younger children or less capable swimmers.

A large splash pad area offers thrills for visitors of all ages. An enormous raised bucket fills with water, splashing the contents onto those below. Children will squeal with delight as they run through a series of curved water squirters or interact with multiple water guns and sprayers.

A well shaded toddler pool provides opportunities for young children to confidently explore their surroundings without the intrusion by older children. Play accessories include a small slide, mushroom fountains and water sprayers.

A second play pool incorporates several smaller water slides, mushroom fountains, caterpillar water sprayers and two sunken pool inserts.

There are multiple shelters with tables and chairs, barbeques and open grassy areas. Bring a picnic lunch or make purchases from the on-site kiosk.

Finally, children wanting a break from the water can enjoy a pirate-ship themed playground. This area is well shaded and easily visible from most picnic shelters.

Other facilities include 50m and 25m outdoor pools, heated learn to swim and hydro indoor pools and toilet/changing rooms with disability access.

Please note that the outdoor play areas are only open during the warmer months. Operational periods are posted in advance to the pool's social media platforms.
