Camping in the city
Caravan park signage
The idea of caravans and camping conjours up images of running creeks, making new friends and fun-filled adventures. What if you could have all of that and not even need to leave the city.
Walking paths along the creek
Located on the edge of Enoggera Creek and just 4kms from the CBD, the Newmarket Gardens Caravan Park offers cute cabins, roomy caravans and grassy camping sites for visitors to Brisbane - perfect options for singles, families and grey nomads. The park is particularly popular during the RNA Exhibition each August.
Checking in to the Caravan Park
Established in 1957, the caravan park was once a jersey cow stud farm and a Chinese market garden.
Today, the park has a range of features like free BBQs, a 24-hour internet shack, a book exchange and a games library.
Gardens at the entrance
Buses stop outside the park to help visitors explore city sights and a shopping centre is just steps away for you to replenish your stocks.
