Weird Beach Ball Fun
It has taken Europe by storm and now the latest craze in fun fitness has arrived in Newcastle.
Bumper Ball is a fantastic way to roll, flip, tumble, dive and bounce in a fun, safe and comfortable environment and you don't even get wet.
The Bumper Ball itself is a weird looking beach ball with a doughnut hole in the center that you climb into - remember safety and comfort. Once inside you strap your self in - like a backpack - and grab the handles. You can roll, bounce, dive, and flip your way around.
In Europe, teams of Bumper Ball players play a game similar to soccer. The teams try to score goals and stay on their feet before being bumped over by the opposing team. It's very fast and fun both for the player and for spectator.
To watch a game is thrilling. Giant weird looking beach balls with legs all trying to score goals with a small soccer ball, it is a true recipe for entertainment. Players falling all over the place, the ball going one way and the path of players trying to get up going another.
I took my children to Newcastle Bumper Ball's open day. My children absolutely loved it. They all had a go at bumping each other over - I am considering investing in a couple of the bumpers for the next time the kids argue. They were diving flipping and rolling all over the place, taking great joy in knocking each other over.
Newcastle Bumper Ball can be hired for local events, birthday parties, special events and they are currently looking for players for their regular league that is due to commence soon.
