Facing the Front: New Zealandís Enduring First World War
What better way to remember fellow countrymen who lived through the First World War than through the individuals themselves.

As part of the New Zealand's commemoration of the First World War, the New Zealand Portrait Gallery has organised an exhibition featuring images of those who experienced the war first hand and those who helped shape our views of the war.

Visitors will see images of politicians, soldiers, scientists, nurses, charity workers, merchants, historians etc.
