Walking in the garden should be sweet, but not this one
The New York Botanical Garden is taking the kids and kids-at heart for a walk in the woods after the sunset. It will be dark. It will be spooky.

This Spooky Nighttime Adventures is a part of The Haunted Pumpkin Garden at the Everett Children's Adventure Garden.

You will experience the thrills and chills of the season in a haunted world of pumpkins. Come in your Halloween costume and join the tour in the dark with just a flashlight in your hand and explore pumpkin sculptures. Oh yes, those are scary. If I were you I will walk really closely with the group because you will never know who or what is hiding along the path. Listen for critters of the night, and bull frogs may come out to help build creepy atmosphere, dig around for decomposers (you know what I mean), and decorate gourds.

The adventure and all activities are designed for kids ages 5-12 and parents.

The event dates are:
10/20/2012, 10/21/2012, 10/26/2012, 10/27/2012, 10/30/2012 at 6:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m.

Please plan to arrive at the New York Botanical Garden at 6 PM. Forest tour departs from the Reflecting Pool at 6:15 PM and the adventure starts at 6:30 PM. Tour is approximately 30 minutes then Spooky Nighttime fun Halloween kids activities will run until approximately 8:30 PM.

Advance tickets are recommended. This event requires additional ticket.
