Welcome in the new year with rides, food, fun and more
If you've got kids, then you know how challenging New Year's Eve can be. It can be tough finding an event that has everything for you and them. Well look no more because this year, Novotel Twin Waters Resort has the evening planned.
This is the place to spend the end of the year if you're a kid - carnival rides, sideshows, food, entertainment and more. It runs from 4pm until 10pm, complete with a fireworks display to end the night.

Perhaps the highlight of the night will be the carnival rides and sideshows. Prepare yourself for the Super Sizzler, Aquatic Adventure Castle, Rock Wall, Cup and Saucer Ride, Giant Obstacle Course, Laughing Clowns, Whack a Frog and much more. You can grab an unlimited rides pass if you pre-purchase tickets ($25) from Party Time Amusements. Otherwise, you can grab one at the door on the night for $30. If only a couple of rides take your fancy, you can get an individual ticket for $4.

Once you've worked up an appetite, there's plenty to snack on. There will be pizza, frozen drinks, nachos, ice cream, fairy floss and a lolly station. Cafe Nemo will be serving up fish and chips, burgers sandwiches, dagwood dogs, calamari and more. If your taste is a bit more sophisticated, then be sure to dine in at the Nouveau Restaurant from 5.30pm. The famous seafood buffet will be on. The Aqua Lounge and Bar will be open throughout the day as well (but you have to be 18 years or older after 6pm).
Of course, what would New Year's Eve be without fire works? There will be a big display at 9pm - perfect for all the young ones who won't make it to midnight.
Novotel have pulled out all the stops to make this New Year's Eve a memorable one. Bring the kids for an awesome night they won't soon forget.
