Before you know it, Christmas rolls around and you have no plans for what should be one of the biggest nights of your year. It's a celebration of the year it has been, and what's to come. So get on to it NOW and book yourself the best New Years Eve ever.

Now, it's really going to depend on your age and situation as to what option you might like to take, so I'm going to do my best to cover all bases here. Singles, couples, married, families and seniors. You can all have a fantastic night out, or day celebration if that takes your fancy. But you'll want to get in and book soon.

1. YOUNG SINGLES

You're young, you're vibrant, you like to party. So you're going to want to book something that involves drinks, dancing, and preferably other singles. How great would it be to tell your future children that you met your future partner dancing the night away on New Years Eve? And how easy does it make it to remember the Anniversary of the day you met?

- Club Paradiso:

How about a tame New Years Eve, and getting some friends together for a pumping New Years Day?

Club Paradiso is back for another year in 2012 at the ever so popular, Salt on the Beach.
With world class tunes, drinks, good friends, and stunning views of the beach, you'll no doubt make a memory here, bringing in the year 2012 in style.

Salt on the Beach, North Fremantle has been confirmed as this year's venue. Keep an eye out on the Sunset Events website for ticket information. Join their mailing list here and keep informed.

- Southbound Festival:

Another savoury option is saving up all of your coins, leaving your party pants off for a week, then celebrating in fine festival form over two days at Southbound Festival.

In 2012, Southbound Festival grows up and becomes an 18 only event. So those that are of age can be free from the caged areas, roam around, and celebrate the year to come with music, stalls, food, and drinks. Not forgetting bed hair all day long, because you'll be camping for two days. And if you do so happen to meet your future husband or wife to be, they're going to love you for what you look like, bed hair and all.

Southbound Festival runs from January 7-8 at Sir Stewart Bovell Park, Busselton. Artists featured include Arctic Monkeys, Missy Higgins, and Arj Barker, and you can pick tickets up right here , from August 17.
2. COUPLES

Sometimes, couples attach themselves to other couples. It's as if the couples are couples. Which is great when package deals are offered and you can all take advantage of the savings.

- The Vines New Year Packages:

An option I took up last year was a bit of a getaway. Leaving on boxing day, and returning in the New Year was the most favourable of options.

The Vines are already offering some great accommodation packages for that time of year, which you may like to snap up now.

Why not get together with another couple, and grab a two bedroom apartment? For $279 per apartment, per night, you'll get 4 nights accommodation in a 2 bedroom apartment, including a bottle of wine or 6 pack of beer. If you take up 5 nights, it's $249, or for 7 nights, you'll pay just $209 per night.

Last year, The Vines offered a terrific New Years Eve, with an all you can eat banquet, all you can drink, live band, and fireworks at midnight. Fingers crossed they arrange the same thing this year, and you can wander down from your apartment for a fun filled evening, and wander back at the end of the night. How good does that sound? No taxi's on New Years Eve. I could go for that.

Check out The Vines accommodation packages here, and bring in the New Year with good friends, and great times.

3. MARRIED

I don't believe it's true what they say about married couples. You know, that life gets boring after "I Do". Maybe work has been taking up a lot of your time, and you're dying to stop for a drink and unwind. Well, loosen that tie and lace up your party boots, because this New Years Eve, it's all about you two.

- Captain Cook New Years Eve Cruise:

I assume when you are married, and working in the garden, and fixing that light fitting, or repairing your letterbox, you don't get as many opportunities to get out and about in Perth. So wouldn't it be nice to take in some Perth sights, whilst sipping on some good wine, and dancing in the New Year with the one you love?

Captain Cook Cruises organise a couple of New Years Eve cruises each year, in which you'll either enjoy dinner on board, or at a winery on the way.
Details of this year's cruises are not yet confirmed, but keep an eye out on their website here , and they'll surely be up in the coming months.

4. FAMILIES

- Gloucester Park:

Gloucester Park often hosts one of the biggest New Years Eve shindiggy's in Perth. Along with spectacular harness racing, you'll find live music, and a magnificent fireworks display at the end of the night. Over 20,000 people usually attend this evening, so if you've got teens, they might like to go and check out the bands, while the 'grown ups' have a glass or two of bubbly and place a few bets. It's definitely a celebratory atmosphere on this evening, so you'll find a happy medium here for you and the kids to enjoy.

5. SENIORS

No, no, you're not too old to stay up late and enjoy this night. I imagine you'd like to steer clear of the pumping venues with loud music and rowdy patrons, so I've devised a plan that will certainly have you enjoying your New Years Eve until the clock strikes tomorrow.

- Royal Perth Yacht Club:

If you're after a quiet drink on the balcony, or social dinner with friends, you'll find it at the spectacular Swan Yacht Club .
Each year, they hold a New Years Eve event in which guests can enjoy a meal, music, and the fantastic surrounds. Keep an eye out on their website for further details in the coming months.

For more of what's happening this New Years Eve, you may also like to keep an eye out on the Aussie New years Eve website .

Otherwise, why not get in early and book a meal at your favourite restaurant now? It's never too early to book for one of the best night's of the year.
