This New Year's Eve, wherever you can see the city skyline you'll be able to see the spectacular display of the midnight fireworks.

If you're planning on coming into the city, avoid the heavy crowds around Flinders Station and head to one of the four live sites at Treasury Gardens, Flagstaff Gardens, Docklands and Kings Domain. These are the best spots for inner-city views of the fireworks and, from 9pm to 1am music, food, a multimedia countdown and facilities will be on offer.

Keep in mind there will be large crowds and traffic delays so jump on public transport. Remember, this is an alcohol-free event and fines apply.
