If you'd love to go to the New Year's Eve fireworks but the crowds and traffic in the Melbourne city are not your thing, zip on down to the Bass Coast. Here you will have your pick of three locations where you can get front row access to the New Year's Eve fireworks displays and enjoy free family entertainment.

Cowes, Phillip Island. Head to this picturesque beachside location for a fun family evening. Turn up from 5pm and enjoy entertainment provided by roving performers and live music from bands and an interactive music trio.
Hop onto some of the amusement rides or just enjoy being at the beach. This fun family event culminates in a fireworks grand finale. This beach location allows everybody to spread out for a good view of the show.

From 5pm, there will be rides for the children, Go Karts and a jumping castle. A local band will add music to this festive atmosphere. Food and drink stalls will be available for refreshments and there will be novelty items to purchase. At 9.30, the skies will come alive with a brilliant fireworks display.

Inverloch. They say things come in threes and the Bass Coast makes no exception to the rule. The third location for New Year's Eve fireworks is the beautiful beachside town of Inverloch. Join the locals and other holidaymakers for live entertainment and fireworks.
