Usher in 2020 with a bang


Fireworks galore to usher in 2020. Here are the venues that you can go and watch fireworks on New Year's Eve 2019 in and around Adelaide.

1. Elder Park, Adelaide City. There will be two fireworks one at 9.pm. and another at 12 midnight. The park is open all day and is free, so you can come at any time of the day. There will be food, fun and entertainment for the whole family commencing from 5 pm. For more information on the event, see the City of Adelaide website

2. Glenelg and Brighton Foreshores. There will also be two fireworks at 9.30 pm and 12 midnight. Another free family event in Holdfast Bay. Festivities start at 5.30pm with entertainment for kids, live music, food and drink stalls. For more information on this event, see their website

3. Semaphore Beach, Port Adelaide. This year, Semaphore beach will also have a firework display at the family-friendly time at 9.30 pm and the usual one at midnight to usher in 2020. There will be street party in Port Adelaide with roving entertainment during the day. For more information, see their website
