New Year's Eve Events Around Nelson Bay (Port Stephens) 2022/23



New Year's Eve is fast approaching - what are your plans? If you are living or visiting the Nelson Bay region, then check out these NYE events happening near you...

Nelson Bay Foreshore 9pm Fireworks will be the highlight of the evening, as locals and visitors descend on the Nelson Bay Foreshore for the fireworks spectacular. See here for event details. If you wish to have dinner in Nelson Bay town centre before the fireworks, it is best to call ahead and book a table as it is sure to be busy!

Imagine Cruises will be out on the water for partygoers to enjoy the fireworks from a different perspective! They will be hosting a 3-hour New Year's Eve Cruise with gourmet finger food, complimentary drink on arrival (sparkling wine, wine, beer or soft drink), complimentary tea and coffee and views of the fireworks. The cost is $129 per adult, with children and concession rates available. See here for details.

Moonshadow - TQC Cruises will also be out on the water and hosting a 3-hour cruise! Party away with their Eats 'n' Beats Cruise, with a 3-course meal, live music and a front row view of the fireworks at 9pm! The cost is $160 per person, for ages 15 and over. See here for details.



Shoal Bay Country Club will be the place to party this NYE! Check out their VIP Patio Package which includes guaranteed entry to the upstairs Patio, canapes, a 4-hour beverage package, spritz on arrival and live entertainment until late for $220 per person. The lower Beach Level will still be open for walk-ins with live music and DJs in the main room and Courtyard. Atmos Greek Restaurant will be having and Escape to Atmos for New Year's Eve night with a delicious Greek feast, 4-hour beverage package, Bouzouki and live music all night, at a cost of $240 per person. Cheeky Dog Bar at Soldiers Point (underneath Bannisters Port Stephens/ Rick Stein's Restaurant ) will be hosting a fun New Year's Eve from 9pm with local band, Uptown getting the party started. DJ Kyle Morrison will then get people up and dancing until late, so wear your dancing shoes. Cheeky Dog is celebrating their 3rd birthday in December, so join them for the celebrations! This family carnival is in town between 16th December 2022 and 15th January 2023 and opens at 6pm nightly for some family fun! Ride the dodgems, spin on the rides and play some sideshow alley games. The Point Restaurant at Soldiers Point overlooks the water and will be having a memorable New Year's Eve with a sparkling on arrival, a 3-course set menu and live music on the marina, for $139 per person. See here for details.
