It's that time of the year again! Every year I try to find something or at least somewhere different to spend my New Year's Eve with my wonderful friends. This year I was looking into spending it with the Dockside crowd and looked at their choices.
A couple of years ago I went to their masquerade ball but alas I was too late with purchasing the tickets. But I found these choices and overjoyed. I just love trying out a different place and having a new adventure.
Interested in having a Greek style NYE on the harbour? Then you've come to the right place. This wonderful place is located on the shore of Darling Harbour, where you'll get front row seats to the Darling Harbour fireworks. It includes a Greek style 3-course dinner menu and a beverage package for the night. There will be a DJ and MC for the night. Tickets cost $235 per adult and $95 per child.
There are two places in the Sydney Rocks area where you can spend your New Year's Eve. If you're feeling up for a little bit of Italia,n then the Italian Village is the place for you. It's got views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour. It's also a more of a cocktail style vibe. You'll be enjoying canapes all night. Tickets are $255 per person.
Now if you're more of a 4-course gourmet meal, then the Rocks Waterfront & Wolfies is more your vibe. Tickets cost $620 per person and this place overlooks the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, which means you'll have front row seats to the 9pm and midnight fireworks show.
My last suggestion would be L'Aqua at Cockle Bay Wharf. They provide a 3 course meal with a 5.5hr beverage package. You'll be able to enjoy your night dancing away with the DJ and watching the fireworks show on the rooftop terrace.
